Bret Miller was in VP-16 with Goldie. He was in a plane crash last year in a T-34. His name is on the wall in Memorial Hall. We will not forget!

Bret's wife donated his academy ring back to the academy and here it is displayed!

Downtown Annapolis

The fall colors leaving town. It was so pretty!
Last weekend we had the opportunity to go to Annapolis, MD and see the USNA. Goldie's roommate from the Ike lives there now and he and his wife were our hosts. We had such a great weekend. We spent Saturday morning on "the yard" and touring the campus of the Naval Academy. We were able to go into the chapel, Bancroft Hall, and the museum. We went to the USNA vs. CMU football game that afternoon where the weather was beautiful and the seats were great. The boys did pretty well at the game. Sunday morning we went with our host to church. To tell you what a small world it is we ran into a young man that went to our church in Jax that is now in his third year at the USNA. We, also, ran into a couple of Aggies that we recognized from A&M. There was another couple that we knew while we were in Jax because she volunteered at NMCRS with me. How random is that? It was so cool! We had a great weekend!
