It was just Sladen

Sladen getting a bubble bath all to himself
That means there is room to lay down
Rocking mom's sunglasses
... and hat
My blue eyed boy
Don't you think you are a little big for that, Sladen?

As GW and Sarah were leaving our house they asked if Kenan could go and stay the week with them. I know, crazy right, since they have 4 kids already!? Kenan really wanted to go so we finally gave in and let him. Kenan had a blast! So much so he didn't want to come home when the week was over and we met up to get him. He told me, "I still love you but I want to go back home with Ethan!" I could definitely feel the love... NOT!

While Kenan was gone I enjoyed spending time with just Sladen. I haven't gotten a whole lot of time with just Sladen. He cracked me up! He was napping when we decided to let Kenan go with the cousins so when he woke up Kenan was gone. Sladen came downstairs and asked, "Where's Kenan?" I told him where he was and he says, "OH MAN" and slaps both hands on his thighs. Then he said, "I go too!" He asked where Kenan was every day he was gone but I think he kind of enjoyed having all of my attention, too!

GW and Sarah Visit

GW shows up and this is what he was wearing! Sarah and I got such a kick out of the fact that they were dressed exactly alike! They are brothers after all! This was the start to a really fun weekend!

The boys!

In case you were wondering it is definitely a family gene that allows you to zone in to tv and be totally oblivious to everything else around you!
Cousins

GW and Sarah came for Memorial Day weekend. We had such a great time with them. Our boys love playing with their cousins. Kenan and Ethan are two peas in a pod. Kenan tells me all the time that Ethan is his best friend. It was fun to have them here.

Celebrating Kenan's Birthday.... Again!

Sometimes Kenan amazes me. We were in FL actually on Kenan's birthday and we had a little party with a cake there. However, he received some gifts in the mail from family that were waiting for him when we got back to VA. I kept asking Kenan if he wanted to open them. His response was always, "When you make my Spider-Man cake, I will open my presents!" Well, things are crazy here and I have not taken the time to make his Spider-Man cake. Before you feel sorry for him look below and see that he had an awesome Spider-Man cake for his party in FL. What four year old has that kind of restraint when it comes to opening presents. They were all wrapped up and sitting on the dining room table FOR WEEKS. Finally one afternoon I asked Kenan if he wanted to open his presents after dinner. He finally said, "Yes!" We ate dinner and he went and started playing with his toys and never even mentioned opening his gifts. WOW! I asked him again if he wanted to open his gifts and his response was, "Oh yeah, I forgot!" So all that to say he finally opened his gifts on May 26th which is 45 days after his actual birthday!

We are so blessed to have Kenan in our lives. He amazes me everyday. He is a spunky, rambunctious, smart, handsome boy. He has grown up so much over the last few months. He cracks us up with his humor and he keeps us on our toes with his schemes. We love you so much, Kenan and can't wait to see what the Lord has in store for you!

One thing that I wanted to do before we moved from VA was take the boys to the Virginia Safari Park! It was totally worth it and I would highly recommend it if you are ever in the Natural Bridge area. The park has a part that you drive through and then a walk through part. The drive through was AMAZING! The animals come right up to the car and you can touch them and feed them. They have a huge variety of animals. I was so proud of the boys. They were so brave when the animals came up to the car. I know there are a ton of pictures that I posted but this is just a fraction of them. I would definitely do that again. Kenan could not stop talking about feeding the animals. We all enjoyed the day.
