Well, we made it to Texas! Six suitcases, two carseats, three carry-ons, two diaper bags, a stroller, and a boppy are all the belongings we toted along with us! That is for three adults, one toddler and one newborn. There was so much stuff that we had to rent a minivan to get to the airport and we had it packed to the gills! If I would have been thinking I would have taken a picture of it all! We were not only loaded down but a little stressed by the whole situation! Even the skycap was glad when he was done with all of our stuff! Overall we had a good day of travel! Sladen slept pretty much the whole time and Kenan enjoyed watching Veggie Tales with Da'Dunn for most of the trip! We only had two plane changes but we were very fortunate that we had an extra seat for Kenan on every leg! We traveled just a few days before Kenan's second birthday so that his ticket was still free (aren't we smart)! We are very glad to be in Texas for the next few months while Goldie is deployed - we just hope the time goes by quick!

My good friends Amy and Elizabeth had a baby shower for Sladen after he was born! Since we didn't know the sex ahead of time we waited until he was born to have the shower! All the girls were so generous and we had a great time hanging out together at the Baker's Crust! I think everyone enjoyed getting to hold Sladen and he was no worse for the wear either! He was perfectly content the whole time! Thank you to my girls for a great celebration!

Aunt Sarah sent Kenan and Sladen big brother and little brother shirts! They are so cute! We never got the perfect picture of the boys where you could read their shirts, also! However, they looked adorable! Thank you Uncle G, Aunt Sarah, Sydney and Ethan! We love the goodies you sent!

P-Mo brought Kenan Batman pajamas! We thought he looked so cute and so big in them! Thank you, P-Mo!

You might notice that Kenan is also wearing a watch! Nana gave him a watch because he was obsessed with pointing out that we all had watches! So she thought that he needed one, too! He wears it all the time! The time isn't even programmed on it but he thinks he is all grown up!

I got Flowers!

I got flowers from Goldie! They were gorgeous and unlike anything I have ever gotten before! We are still enjoying their fragrance and beauty!
