During our Texas visit we took a weekend to visit Goldie's homeland! We enjoyed our time there immensely! It always goes by too quickly though! Kenan got to swim with PMo and hang out with Pop Daddy! Kenan loved being out on the land! He saw cats, cows, horses, and deer! He also managed to get away from us and wander into the woods! He got close and personal with a cactus and we picked thorns out of him all day after that! I got to eat at one of my favorites, Underwood's BBQ! Yum! We also got to see Uncle Corde, Aunt Leslie, Taytum and Spencer for a little while! The drive back to Midland wasn't quite so enjoyable with a screaming baby most of the way! However, we are so thankful that both sets of parents live close enough that we can see them both during our Texas visits!
